Monday, February 8 – I Am They/The Artist’s Corner; Randy and Rozanne Frazee/Believe – What does it mean to be a follower of Christ in the truest sense of the word? On the next Live the Promise Susie welcomes musical guests I Am They to the program to share their story and music. Then, it’s important to move from reading the Bible to actually believing it – and Randy and Rozanne Frazee join us to bridge the gap.
Tuesday, February 9 – Dr. John Trent/31 Ways to Love Your Spouse; Paul Hurckman (IN STUDIO)/Venture Expeditions – How can we love our spouse in practical ways? Listen as Susie talks with Dr. John Trent. We’ll explore 31 ways a wife, specifically, can bless her husband. Then Paul Hurckman of Venture Expeditions joins us in studio. We’ll unpack what it means to press in and serve others without growing weary or burning ourselves out.
Wednesday, February 10 – Angela Hunt/Novel Talk; Mark Alan & Pat Barrett / Artist Corner – How can we see God’s redemption in the story of David and Bathsheba? On the next Live the Promise Susie talks with novelist Angela Hunt about God’s power to turn anything for His good. Then, worship leaders Mark Alan and Pat Barrett will be joining Susie in studio for an Artist’s Corner. While Mark Alan has joined Susie in the past, Pat Barrett, who wrote the song, 'Good, Good Father' will be joining the program for the first time. Together, they'll lead us for a time of worship and encouragement.
Thursday, February 11 – Dr. Mark Rutland/The Lord’s Prayer; Heather Holleman/Seated with Christ – How can the Lord’s Prayer transform our faith and mindset about life? On the Thursday edition of Live the Promise Susie talks with Dr. Mark Rutland about how prayer can restore and renew your soul when you don’t have the words. Then Susie and Heather Holleman look at how to rest in the fact that we are ultimately seated with Christ.
Friday, February 12 – Nancy Alcorn/Dropping the Baggage; Amy Simpson/Troubled Minds (Both Hours Recorded) – What baggage is holding you back? On the next Live the Promise Susie talks with Nancy Alcorn about the insecurities we carry and how to let them go. Then Amy Simpson looks at the stigma of mental illness in the church, and how we can encourage those around us who live with it.
Saturday, February 13 – Jill Savage – No More Perfect Kids – How many times do we put unfair expectations on our children? How can we learn to trust God with their talents and dreams? On the weekend edition of Live the Promise you’ll hear Susie’s conversation with Jill Savage of Hearts at Home. We spend time talking about letting our children be themselves, as God has designed and gifted them.
