Monday, May 23 – Bethany Hoang (In Studio)/The Justice Calling; Stu Epperson Jr./The Last Words of Jesus – God is a God of justice – and He calls us to live that out. On the next Live the Promise Susie welcomes Bethany Hoang of International Justice Mission to the studio. We’ll explore what it means to seek justice in our lives. Then radio host Stu Epperson Jr. joins the program. We talk about the seven powerful statements Jesus made from the cross, and what they mean for our lives today.

Tuesday, May 24 – Christine Caine/Unashamed (FIRST HALF ONLY); Todd Nettleton/I Am N – What does it mean to live in shame? What does it mean that Jesus, on the cross, scorned the shame? On the next Live the Promise Susie talks with Christine Caine about how Jesus removes past guilt from our lives. Then we’re joined by Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs. He shares a challenging call to identify with persecuted Christians and step into greater boldness for the Gospel.

Wednesday, May 25 – Kim Fredrickson/Give Yourself a Break; Lina Abujamra/Resolved – Self-care and selfishness are not the same thing. On the Wednesday edition of Live the Promise Susie talks with Kim Fredrickson about how to recharge yourself spiritually. Then Dr. Lina Abujamra joins the program. We talk about the importance of resolve in living out your faith, and how to trust God when hard times come.

Thursday, May 26 – Will Davis Jr./A Man Who Told us the Truth; Caleb Kaltenbach/Messy Grace – We live in a very skeptical society, and sometimes that filters in to our faith. Listen to Susie’s conversation with Will Davis Jr. We’ll look at the statements of Jesus and why we can always take His words as truth. Then pastor and author Caleb Kaltenbach returns to the program. He shares what he’s learned about love, grace, and conviction after being raised by two gay parents.

Friday, May 27 – John Burke/Imagine Heaven; Dr. John Townsend/The Entitlement Cure (BOTH HOURS RECORDED) – Many people throughout history have reported near-death experiences. On the weekend edition of Live the Promise you’ll hear Susie’s powerful talk with Pastor Carter Conlon of Times Square Church in New York. Susie and Carter have an in-depth conversation about the early Corinthian church and its lessons of sacrifice and excess.
