Monday, May 9 – Ken Wytsma/Create vs. Copy; Chip Ingram/Heaven – God has given us the capacity to create. How can we use that to lead and empower others? On the next Live the Promise Susie talks with Ken Wytsma of Antioch Church about creativity and faith. Then we’re joined by Faith Radio programmer Chip Ingram of Living on the Edge. He looks at the biblical description of heaven and what it means to eagerly wait for it.

Tuesday, May 10 – Anne Graham Lotz/The Daniel Prayer; Tessa Afshar/Novel Talk – What does it mean to pray in faith as Daniel did? Listen as Susie talks with international speaker Anne Graham Lotz. We look at how Daniel’s prayers under pressure and persecution moved the hand of God. Then Susie is joined by novelist Tessa Afshar. She shares the story of her new novel based on the woman who found healing by touching Jesus’ cloak.

Wednesday, May 11 – TC Stallings/The Pursuit; Dr. Greg Smalley/Relationships – How can we seek God’s purpose for our life? On the Wednesday edition of Live the Promise Susie talks with author and actor TC Stallings. He shares 14 ways we can discern and actively pursue God’s calling for us. Then Focus on the Family’s Dr. Greg Smalley joins the program to talk about building and sustaining God-centered relationships.

Thursday, May 12 – Andy Crouch - Strong & Weak; Jim Gash/Divine Collision –  We can be sidetracked by strength or by weakness – and true flourishing comes by properly understanding both. Listen as Susie talks with Andy Crouchabout true flourishing. And then, professor and attorney Jim Gash joins the program. He shares a powerful account of how God led him to help free an innocent boy sitting in a Ugandan prison.

Friday, May 13 – Paul J. Pastor/The Face of the Deep; Elizabeth Oates/If You Could See as Jesus Sees (BOTH HOURS RECORDED) – The Holy Spirit is a vibrant part of the Christian life. But what do we really know about Him? Listen to Susie’s conversation with author Paul J. Pastor. We talk about the person and work of the third member of the Trinity. Then Susie and Elizabeth Oates talk about how to see ourselves as Jesus sees us: pure, holy, and redeemed.

On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we hear Susie’s powerful conversation with pastor and author Jeff Kinley of Main Thing Ministries. Jeff has a passion for calling believers to a wide-awake and active faith, and we talk about reading the signs of the times and preparing for Christ’s return.
