Monday, June 27 – John Morris/ Faith and the Military; John Eldredge/ Moving Mountains How can we pray for our loved ones and those who serve in the military? On the next Live the Promise we’ll welcome back Chaplain John Morris. He shares what we can do to support those who live as soldiers. Then we’ll talk with John Eldredge of Ransomed Heart Ministries. He joins the program to talk about the power, purpose, and passion of prayer.
Tuesday, June 28 – Liz Curtis Higgs/Redemption Stories; Nick Hall (In Studio)/Reset – What happens when we allow pride to overrule our repentance? On the next Live the Promise we’ll talk with Liz Curtis Higgs. She explores the biblical story of Herodias, wife of Herod, and her daughter, Salome. Then Susie talks with evangelist Nick Hall. Nick is spearheading a movement of prayer and we’ll talk about the importance of calling the nation back to God.
Wednesday, June 29 – Leon Fontaine/The Spirit Contemporary Life; Lorraine Marie Varela/Love in the Face of ISIS – What if the supernatural became natural in your daily life? On the next Live the Promise we talk with pastor and television host Leon Fontaine about the Spirit-filled life. Then Susie talks with Lorraine Marie Varela. We unpack seven strategies of prayer to use in the face of the ISIS crisis.
Thursday, June 30 – Randy Alcorn/Happiness; Todd Nettleton/I Am N – We’re called to be holy – but that doesn’t mean we can’t be happy. On the Thursday edition of Live the Promise, Susie and Randy Alcorn look at the joyful calling of the Christian life. Then we hear from Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs, who shares a challenging call to identify with persecuted Christians and step into greater boldness for the Gospel.
Friday, July 1 – Brad Hewitt/Finances; Jeff Manion/The Land Between (BOTH HOURS RECORDED) – When God gives us resources, we’re called to use them to bless others. On the Friday edition of Live the Promise Brad Hewitt, CEO of Thrivent Financial, offers wise counsel for handling money. Then pastor Jeff Manion joins the program. We explore what we can learn and cultivate in our faith and character in times of difficult transitions.
Saturday, July 2 – Stephen Mansfield – Our country is shaped by the worldviews of its leaders in many ways. On the weekend edition of Live the Promise we’ll hear Susie’s conversation with author and social commentator Stephen Mansfield. Stephen has written extensively about a number of former presidents, and he talks about why it’s so important to know what our presidential candidates believe about God.
