Monday, April 25 – Os Guinness/A Free People’s Suicide; Dan Allender/Healing the Wounded Heart – The health of a country is based largely on the freedoms of its people. On the next Live the Promise Susie welcomes social commentator Os Guinness. We talk about how to express our faith in a culture that is sometimes hostile to Jesus. Then counselor Dan Allender joins us to look at how past wounds affect our hearts today, and talk about the God who heals us one step at a time.
Tuesday, April 26 – Chris Shook and Megan Shook Alpha/Beauty Begins; Nika Maples/Hunting for Hope – Culture tells us many things, but God sees our value and beauty perfectly. Listen as Chris Shook and her daughter Megan Shook Alpha share God’s definition of beauty. Then Susie talks with Nika Maples. She shares her incredible recovery from a stroke that nearly took her life, and what it means that God alone is our source of true hope.
Wednesday, April 27 – Shelene Bryan/Ridiculous Faith; Jennifer Kennedy Dean/Synced – God calls us to have ridiculous faith. What does that mean? On the next Live the Promise Susie talks with Shelene Bryan to talk about the steps of faith God asks us to take, and how He equips us to take them. Then author Jennifer Kennedy Dean joins the program. We talk about what it means to live a life of prayer that is in sync with Jesus and His power.
Thursday, April 28 – Dr. Michael Guillen/Amazing Truths; Bo Stern/Ruthless God – Many people believe science and faith can never go hand in hand. On the weekend edition of Live the Promise Susie talks with pastor and author Craig Groeschel. We spent some time unpack the danger of a self-focused life, and the impact that technology and social media are having on our walk with God.
